Air conditioning and heater blower/control module — replacement Ford F150
Note: The blower motor and the blower motor speed control module have been combined into one assembly called the blower motor control module.
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal (see Engine electrical systems).
2. Remove the passenger’s side lower trim panel plastic push-pins and panel.
3. Remove the passenger’s side kick-panel (see Body).
4. On 4WD models, remove the transfer case control module (TCCM) (see Transfer case).
Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor control module (1), then remove the mounting screws (2)
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor module (see illustration).
6. Remove the blower motor/control module screws and separate the module from the housing.
7. Installation is the reverse of removal.
