Door window glass — removal and installation Ford F150
Front
1. Remove the door trim panel and water-shield (see Door trim panels – removal and installation).
2. Lower the window.
3. Pry the inner weather seal out of the window opening, then raise the window halfway.
4. Release the glass retaining clips to separate the window glass from the window regulator (see illustration).

5. Remove the window glass by lifting it upward by hand and tilting it forward, then guide the glass out of the door.
6. To install, lower the glass into the door, slide it into position while aligning the tabs into the regulator, making sure it clips securely in place.
7. On models with power windows, carry out the power window initialization procedure listed at the end of this Section.
8. The remainder of installation is the reverse of removal. If needed, restore the `one-touch’ feature by performing the window initialization procedure in Door window glass regulator – removal and installation.
Rear (SuperCab and SuperCrew models)
9. Follow Steps 1 through 3, but on the rear door.
10. Raise the window for access to the regulator clips, then release the retaining clips with a screwdriver.
Note: On SuperCab models, the rearmost window glass guide will have to be removed with the window raised in the upward position. Also, if the regulator/motor is already damaged and being replaced, it may help to cut the regulator cables to allow for extra room when removing the window glass.
11. Remove the window.
12. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
13. On models with power windows, carry out the power window initialization procedure listed at the end of this Section.
14. If needed, restore the ‘one-touch’ feature by performing the window initialization procedure in Door window glass regulator – removal and installation.
