Headlight housing — removal and installation Ford F150
Note: Turning the wheel towards the opposite side of the headlight housing your’re working on to give better access the to the headlight trim panel without having to remove the inner fender liner or front wheel.
1. Working inside the fenderwell, locate the headlight trim panel directly behind the headlight housing and remove the screws and plastic push-pin fasteners and pull the panel out of the way.
2. On models equipped with fender mouldings, remove the two moulding screws, then release the three moulding retainers on the inside of the moulding and move the front section of fender moulding out away from the fender.
3. Remove the headlight housing trim panel (see Radiator grille and headlight housing trim – removal and installation).
4. Remove the plastic push-pins and mounting screws from inside the inner fender liner (see illustration).

5. Remove the plastic push-pin from under the inner portion of the headlight housing.
6. Remove the headlight trim (see Body).
7. Remove the headlight housing trim panel bracket bolts, then release the retaining tabs and slide the bracket away from the body (see illustrations).

8. Disconnect the electrical connector to the marker light.
9. Remove the three bolts securing the headlight assembly to the core support (see illustration).

10. Pull the housing from the radiator core support and disconnect the electrical connectors (see illustration).

11. Unclip the harness (see illustration) from the housing and remove the headlight housing.

12. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten all fasteners to the torque settings listed in Section.
