Turbocharger Boost Pressure (TCBP) and Charge Air Cooler Temperature (CACT) sensor — replacement Ford F150

Note: Only 2.7L and 3.5L (turbocharged) models are equipped with a combination Turbocharger Boost Pressure (TCPB) and Charge Air Cooler Temperature (CACT) sensor. A problem in the sensor circuit will set a diagnostic trouble code.

Locating the Turbocharger Boost Pressure (TCPB) and Charge Air Cooler Temperature (CACT) sensor (2.7L shown; 3.5L similar)

1. Locate the TCPB/CACT sensor in the intake pipe between the intercooler and the throttle body

2. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the fasteners.

3. Remove the TCPB/CACT sensor from the air intake pipe.

4. Installation is reverse of removal.
