Door window glass regulator — removal and installation Ford F150
Note: The rear door window regulator is removed in a similar manner as the front regulator,. the only main difference being that the rear door speaker may need to be removed to allow for better access (depending on the model).
1. Remove the door trim panel (see Door trim panels – removal and installation) and watershield (see illustration).
.1 Carefully pull the watershield out and down, working your way around the opening
2. Unclip and separate the window glass from the regulator (see Door window glass – removal and installation). Push the glass all the way up and tape it securely to the door frame (see illustration).
.2 Tape the door window securely in place
3. Remove the window regulator-to-door and track mounting fasteners (see illustra tions), then carefully guide the regulator assembly out of the access hole.

4. On power window equipped models, unplug the electrical connector.
5. Transfer any working regulator components (such as the motor) to the new assembly if necessary.
6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
